Alannah - a wonder in marble!

Alannah is nearing the completion, and here 'touch' is important.  The hands can feel what the eyes can’t see! Alannah was created during a special workshop I attended with a visiting Italian/ Syrian sculptor from Carrara - she was created totally by hand, chipping out with hammer and point, then chisels and then finally I resorted to my faithful files, which allowed the rounded forms to bloom.
